Are corrective and functional workouts for everyone?
Currently, over 80% of our patients need corrective workouts and between 50-60% need functional workouts.
Starting with active therapy that use only your own body weight for resistance is where everyone should start.
As your body becomes more stable using corrective workouts you maybe ready for more of a challenge, you can add functional workouts and use more resistance in the form of weights or resistance tubing.
If you are unable to use weights or resistance tubing you can perform movements in a pool. This is a low impact way of achieving functional movement.
